electromotive already or another type of stand alone ecu. So I know I don't come here very often to the TT.net site and this is the only Z site that I am a member of. But First off I want to thank every one for there input over the past 2 years or so I can't remember. I have a Tec2 on my engine now and wow it is a lil overwhelming for someone who knows squat about tuning. If anyone does plan on putting electromotive or something similar like motec I can give you some helpful info on what needs to go and what can stay. As you all know that the Z cars are full of electrical crap and hoses running every which way. Specially on the TT. I guess I have also dropped over 300lbs or more on the overly heavy vehicle. Yes no A/C either. If there is anyone esle that has a stand alone I would like to share tuning info. As far as right now goes I want to get the proper AFR's. The motor is rebuilt and I want to put some mileage on her before I go to the dyno. Basically I need some help with tuning. I have 555cc which I think is about 52-53 lbs per hour injectors and T28 turbos. On the AFR I just want to get into the ball park to get her to run good and not blow the motor.
At idle I need to find out a good AFR becuase she idles at 1500 rpm. I have checked for leaks and so far so good. If anyone else knows anything I am forgeting in my description plz don't hesitate. Like I said I don't know squat about tuning and I am learning the software for the Tec2. I know that each car is going to run different. One thing I am not to sure about is that the Tec2 says at atmospheric pressure is 120 KPa and all the conversion sites I went to say otherwise. So lets just say that 120KPa is 0 psi. At 3500 rpm and right about when she is going into boost what would be a good Aprox AFR. And Also at 6500-7000 rpm at full boost. These aprox. #'s would realy help me out. Also at anytime if someone knows alot about tuning and the are willing to write some bin files for the Tec2 I would certianly pay them. I don't know how much. That would have to be on an each person basis. If you are interested you can email me at Veztige@hotmail.com also if you want the software you can download it from Electromotive free. The web site is [ www.emi.cc ] Thank you guys again for your support. I will be taking pictures in a coulpe weeks after I work out a few things like the electric rad. fan and a couple others. Also one last thing. Has anyone run air to water on their Z. I do plan on it and I think I have a good idea on how to do it realy cheap like only $500 bucks or so. Only problem is finding someone who can weld alluminum.
